The Girls

“The Girls” began during a season of loss for me. Making this work gave me a way to move forward through grief, discovery, and rebirth while asking why experiences shared by so many women can still leave us feeling alone.

At its heart, this series is a message of sisterhood: you are seen, you are heard, and you are not alone.

Drawing on my background in textiles, I use needlework and carefully chosen materials to reclaim and celebrate forms of making historically dismissed as “women’s work”. Each piece reflects a different facet of the female experience.
