Wildflowers

This series explores the kinship between women and wildflowers - their resilience, beauty, and untamed nature. Wildflowers grow freely in unlikely places often beyond the boundaries intended for them. Like women, they adapt, endure, and bloom wherever they take root.

Using mixed media on paper and the traditionally feminine language of needlework, I celebrate the individuality of women and wildflowers - each distinct, yet essential to the larger landscape. These works invite reflection on what it means to resist imposed expectations, embrace authenticity, and honor the wildness within.
